Is the work of the curator
also that of the medicine (wo)man?

And the healing thus longed for,
is it not also that of its officiant?

Transference / Countertransference:
In some circumstances
the exchange of artistic-curatorial fluids
might seem to intertwine
with psychoanalysis and its toils.
Or with the shamanic experience.

To explore such tensions,
that covenant and conflict
implicit in every genuine curatorial relationship,
MICROMUSEO proposes
a quasi-parodic drift of its own praxis.

A “studio visit”,
an “art clinic”,
adapting those formats
to those of certain well established
therapeutic protocols.

All within the virtual structure
of a personalized ZOOM session
with GUSTAVO BUNTINX,
renowned international curator
and “Chauffeur” of MICROMUSEO.

An adventurous exercise,
regulated by the rigors
that discipline its
MODALITY:

ZOOM meetings,
to be held in English and / or Spanish.

And its
TIMING:

Single sessions of forty minutes,
with the option of a continuous double session
of one hour and twenty minutes.

And its
SCHEDULING:

Hours to be agreed upon,
preferably between 10:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.
(EST)
from Monday to Friday.

And its
CRITICAL DISTANCE:

Meetings held exclusively
through web platforms,
with no other prerequisite
than some referential motivation
in some artistic gesture.
To be jointly auscultated.

And its
CONFIDENTIALITY:

The sessions will not be recorded,
nor informed to third parties,
unless previously agreed upon by all involved.

And its
PAYMENTS:

US$ 100, single session
(forty minutes) /
/ US$ 150, double continuous session
(one hour and twenty minutes)

These fees include taxes
and are deposited in advance
via PAYPAL
(worldwide)
or BANK TRANSFER
(optional, only in Peru).

The receipt will be issued
according to Peruvian tax regulations.
